Snoop Dogg Rocks Accessory Freaks

When I heard Snoop Dogg was going to Manchester for his Doggystyle concert I thought I’d make him and his gang custom pieces as a gift from Accessory Freaks. I didn’t know how possible it was going to be as I’d heard about how tight the security was but thought I’d have to give it a go anyway.

So I got to the O2 Apollo in Manchester last night, spoke to Snoops management and they loved the stuff. As they were so rushed off their feet we had to hang around till after the show. In the meantime we got drenched as our umbrella decided to fall apart, but we kept it together and soldiered through until end of the show. Soon as the show ended there must have been a few hundred fans waiting to catch a glimpse of Snoop. Then out of nowhere his management came to get us. We trundled through the crowd into the back door and Snoop Dogg wanted to meet us back stage so we could give him the gifts personally. I was lost for words (doesn’t happen very often). OMG…I just can’t believe it!!

We got outside his dressing room and we met Snoops body guard. He was HUGE…MASSIVE…HENCH!! Words cannot explain. I asked him how wide his shoulders were and other body guard replied with ‘As wide as a freeway’, ha-ha!!! Both of them were really nice but I wouldn’t like to get on the wrong side of them.

So we got called in…I was in far too much shock. It all happened so fast…adrenalin was pumping and I spoke far too fast in all the excitement! I showed him the custom pieces I made him and he pulled the #puffpuffpasstuesdays necklace out the box and put it straight round his neck without any hesitation and started posing. I was SO happy…you can probably tell by the big grin on my face in the pics (I still can’t stop smiling)!

Soon as he put it on I said, ‘Snoop, do you like it?’ and he replied with ‘I wouldn’t be wearing this fucking shit if I didn’t like it, trust me’, in his Doggystyle swagger. What an amazing moment, he is such a legend! So cool and really humble!

At the end of the show we also got a chance to grab hold of Kurupt from Tha Dog Pound and get an autograph.

Best of luck to him for the rest of the tour! If you get an opportunity to see him perform live make sure you go!

Big thank you to the management for believing in Accessory Freaks and giving us the opportunity to meet the LEGEND!!

On top of the world fo’ shizzle!

Love Pam Sami
p.s. Sorry for looking so rough…that’s what happens when you’re standing around in this British weather.
