Just wanted to give you all a little update! I have left the UK today to embark on a one month trip around Asia. It’s nowhere near enough time required to fully explore the list of places I will be visiting, but for now it will have to do. I’m sooooo excited and have been wanting to do something like this for YEARS and I’ve finally made it happen.
During my trip I will be visiting the following places:
China (Beijing, Shanghai, Huangshan)
Japan (Tokyo)
Hong Kong
Thailand (Bangkok,Phuket)
Malaysia
Singapore
Indonesia (Bali, Lombok and Gili islands)
I’ll be travelling mostly via air but have got the odd night train to save wasting time travelling in the day.
There is a whole lot to fit into one month, but I’m hoping this will give me a taste of each place and then I’ll be able to decide where I would like to go back and explore more. I’m guessing I’ll want to go back to all of them haha!
Along the way and once I’m back I will be posting quite a number of blog posts about my trip. I’ll be covering cost of the trip, how I went about booking flights and trains, essentials required, reviews of each country and city I visit, along with a list of things to do and things to avoid so keep your eyes open for them.
I’m going to keep this short as I’m on my first leg of the trip and en route to Beijing and currently monging out.
