When the sun is out I have the urge to get out and about at any opportunity I get. One of my fav places is The Black Rocks in the Derbyshire Peak district area.
It’s a beautiful place where you can go and chill out, catch some sun rays, take in the beautiful views and relax. During the summer months it can get quite busy and you’ll often find people having BBQ’s at the top of the cliff.
Here are a couple of pictures from the top of the rocks.
Will you be brave enough to walk to the edge…get great pictures but a little terrifying if you’re scared of heights.
It’s not a challenging climb to the top of the rocks and you don’t really need a great deal of time. You can make your visit as long or short as you like. You can either relax at the top of the Black Rocks or enjoy one of the walks.
There is a pay and display car park on site and a small shop where you can buy some snacks, ice cream and drinks.
