Hello! I’m Emma Wood and I am currently studying Media and Journalism at UWE Bristol, which is ok, but I’m far too excited to start my masters in Fashion Journalism next year!
I have a massive love for Mexican food, heels that are far too high, acoustic tunes, maxi dresses, beautifully cut blazers, well made mojitos and going on adventures to various destinations around the world.
I can’t wait to share all of my fashion discoveries and thoughts via Accessory Freaks…So, let’s do this!

Not sure if you’ve all noticed but I haven’t been writing many blog posts. I get round to writing one every month which is pathetic I know. As I’m totally snowed under with my day job, and all the goings on at Accessory Freaks head quarters I decided to advertise on facebook and twitter for people interested in blogging for us. I received loads of emails and I finally selected three lovely ladies. So, I got each of them to send me a picture of themselves and a little bit about themselves, so here goes.
First we have Kirsty Welsh
I’m Kirsty. I’m a student from (not so) sunny Portsmouth.
I’m currently studying a magazine journalism degree in Southampton, which means I get to buy hundreds of magazines a month and not have to explain myself! I also get to write all my sometimes weird thoughts from my crazy and strange life.
I enjoy going on adventures with the girls – by adventures it usually involves getting the bikes out and going for a bike ride (yes, we’re really that cool), buying one bottle of rosé too many, eating too much chocolate to the extent I need to be rolled to bed and then burning it all off again by doing some exercise – I play netball regularly and this is when my competitive streak really comes out. (It’s not pretty.)
When I’m not a poor student, I do what most girls do and that is of course, shopping. My boyfriend loves it when I drag him round the shops asking if a dress looks good and it’s usually answered with a silent deathly stare. (Sound familiar?)
Anyway, I’m going to be blogging for Accessory Freaks and can’t wait to see some of their up and coming collections and write about some other stuff going on!

Secondly Amy Louden
Hi I’m Amy, lovely to meet you. So I’m 24 and living near Windsor, not too far from the Queen so perfect for hanging around outside the Castle, you know, just in case Harry’s visiting his nan. I work for an online dating company (purely work, not pleasure) as a Content and Copywriting Co-ordinator, and I’m just starting to dip my feet into the blogging pond (about 5 years late I know). I’m a self proclaimed ‘pint sized’ princess, with a penchant for hair bows and anything pink. I pretty much say whatever I’m thinking (awkward) and it’s possibly getting worse with age. Oh and I love cake.

Thirdly Yadira Garrido
My name is Yadira D. Garrido. But everyone calls me Yadi G. or Honeii (of course). I’m 24yrs old and turn 25 on March 27th. I’m a freelance photographer & work full time as an administrative assistant (boring). I live in Manassas, VA but work and spend most of my days in Washington DC. Which is where it’s easiest for me since I can do all my shopping here and view the latest trends. I LOVE shopping (obviously), hang out at local bars, meet new people, and spend time with my friends and family. I’d say I’m pretty normal but everyone that knows me knows that I’m a compulsive shopper and just plain talk a lot. Which, doesn’t hurt if I’m blogging, right!? 🙂
