Lululemon All The Right Places II Pant Review

If you are into fitness you would have heard about workout gear by Lululemon. Their leggings are meant to be the best in the fitness industry and are known for how opaque they are. Since squatting and dead lifting I have really struggled to find many pairs of leggings that are opaque, comfortable and don’t fall down.

Back in July I took a trip to London and decided to stop off at the Lululemon store in Covent Garden and see what all the fuss was about. The stafff were super friendly and I actually spent ages just talking to them about the kind of workouts they did, which pants worked for them, where they were from, about Pokemon Go haha, we had a good chat. The store is really impressive and full of a large variety of fitness clothing, sports bras, vests, pants etc.

Here are some pictures of the store itself.

I knew i wanted a full length pair of leggings, I specified to them that I was using them for squatting and deadlifting and wanted something super opaque. I was advised to try on the Wunder Pant and All The Right Places II. After trying them out, having a squat in them in front of the mirror and doing my usual checks, I was pretty happy with the All The Right Places II pant in black. They fitted perfectly and felt amazing.

I’ve been training in them ever since and have ditched many of my old leggings and stuck them on eBay for sale as there’s no way I’ll be going back to them. The fabric allows you to keep cool, is very smooth and super opaque. They have pockets on both sides of the pant which is located on the thigh. I didn’t think i would be too keen on the location of the pocket but they actually work really well. Main plus point is they are so comfortable to wear and stay in place, don’t have to constantly be pulling them up. As they are high wasted them give you great support in all the right places (no pun intended) and I must say when I am wearing them I feel amazing and confident. I can put 100% of my mind on my weights and not on whether someone can see my rear end. They are a little on the pricey side, £118 to be exact but I think they are worth it. I would rather have two pairs of Lululemon leggings than 6 pairs of any other leggings that I wasn’t truly happy with.

The only big disappointment with the leggings has been that I have had some of the stitching unravel at the back of the leggings after about 3 washes.

Thankfully I still had my receipt so I contacted the Covent Garden store and arranged to post them back to them and they sent me a brand new replacement. Unfortunately after 6-7 washes of my replacement pair I have had the same problem but in a different location, this time near the pocket. Rather disappointing for the price I have paid for them. I will be getting back in touch with them and finding out what can be done. I’m not sure if I have been super unlucky or this is a common problem with them.

Apart from this problem with the stitching i have been super pleased with the leggings and would definitely get another pair.

There aren’t very many stores in the UK which is rather frustrating but if you are in the London area I would suggest to pop into the store and at least try them on and get a feel for them, ensure you know your size and then you can always buy them online at a later date if you change your mind.

If you have any recommendations of leggings which are opaque and good for squatting and dead lifting please let me know.

(Apologises for occasionally referring to them as leggings and then pants haha).
