Healthy Bites

Hi everyone,

I have spent the last couple of weeks trying to finalise my healthy bites recipe. It took me a while to get it just right, but I finally got there and I’m very happy with them. There were many messy days spent in the kitchen, just me and my Nutribullet tweaking the recipe.

It is such a simple recipe which requires no baking at all and even people who can’t cook will be able to follow the recipe with ease.

Great thing about this snack is that there is no added sugar, no artificial products…its all natural. The cranberries and dates help satisfy that sweet tooth you may have and you won’t feel guilty eating them. These little healthy bites are packed full of Carbs, protein and good fats. I love having these as a quick snack after my workout along with a protein shake.

1. Place all the dry ingredients into your blender, Pumpkin seeds, cashews, rolled oats, whey protein, cinnamon, ground ginger.  Blend till a fine powder.

2. Add Cranberries, Medjoul dates and blend again.

3. Add 10ml of almond milk and blend. Keep adding Almond milk until you have the texture you require. Do not add anymore than 20ml’s as the final product will be too sticky to roll into bites.

4.Wet your hands to prevent the mixture sticking to your hands and roll out 6 balls weighing approx 27g.

5. Now you can enjoy your guilt free healthy bites

Hope you enjoy the recipe. I will have some more healthy snacks soon.
