Hi all,
The biggest battle for a female fitness freaks that workout in the gym (squatting and deadlifting in particular for me) or doing Yoga is to find leggings/pants that are 100% opaque. Many brands claim that their leggings are opaque but when tested they aren’t as great as they make out. Last thing anyone wants is to be flashing their underwear to the entire class or gym. You want to put your leggings/pants on and feel confident.
My prayers were answered when I discovered the Lululemon pants. I am a big Lululemon fan and LOVE their products but not the price. After saying that I must say they are worth it as they do wear really well and if you have any problems with them their customer service is excellent. Please see my All The Right Places II pant review post by clicking here.
So yesterday (10/3/2017) I was casually scrolling through Instagram and saw a post that Lululemon had opened up an Outlet store at Bicester Village, UK. If you’re after the full address and opening times please click here. Of course I had to get myself down there soon as I heard the news. So the morning after the opening I dragged my parents out with me and took a drive down. Soon as I arrived I spotted a Lululemon double-decker bus and knew I was heading in the right direction. A Lululemon store 1 hour 20 mins away from me and at discounted prices equals dangerous but exciting times!
It’s a fairly small shop but is packed full of goodies for both men and women and they have a large variety of products on the shelf and in the storeroom. All the prices in the store vary. Some items are almost half the original price and others have 10%-20% off, It really depends on the item. As it’s an outlet store many people think that the products must be damaged in some way, they’re not. This store will hold end of line products and products they’ve made too much of but all of them are in perfectly brand new condition.
I headed straight over to the leggings and got stuck straight in. The staff were super helpful and I explained what I wanted out the leggings and they advised me on which ones to go for. I’m a real fan of the All The Right Places II pant but wanted to try something a little different but still gave me that confidence. I decided to try a few different styles on and see how I got on with them. Of course I had to do the standard squat test in the change room and check that my rear end wasn’t peaking through and all the ones i selected past the test.
Here is what I ended up getting along with prices:
All The Right Places Pant II in Navy. Originally £118, Outlet price £79, saving of £39
All The Right Places Pant in Pink/Plum. Originally £118, Outlet price £79, saving of £39
Wunder Under Pant Hi-Rise in Camouflage. Originally £82, Outlet price £54, saving of £28
Fleece Be True Crew in Black and Grey. Originally £108, Outlet price £54, saving of £54
As I made it on the second day of them opening I got the opportunity to take part in a 15 minute meditation session which was held on the Lululemon double-decker bus. I even managed to convince my Dad to get on which was unbelievable because it’s really not his thing. Soon as we boarded the bus we were provided with drinks, fruit and protein bars. We headed up to the top deck, took a seat, put on the meditation headphones and switched off for 15 mins. It was amazing and I honestly forgot I was at Bicester Village and almost fell asleep. After the session we were given a voucher to go back to the store and collect a gift which was a H2Om Waterbottle. So chuffed but really didn’t need another water bottle…i already have an obsession with water bottles and have about 20 haha. I’ve heard the Meditation Om the Move bus will be travelling around the stores so keep your eyes open as i’m sure they’ll be posting it on their Facebook page and Instagram account.
If you’re a Lululemon fan or you’re in need of some amazing sports wear I would suggest taking a trip to the outlet store and checking out the products and trying them on for yourselves.
