Introducing to you, Sweetia

Sweetia Stevia Sweetener

If you’re after a stevia sweetener or have been using one and looking for something better, you’re in the right place.

Back in 2015 the penny dropped and I realised how high my sugar intake was. No matter how much someone tells you something is bad for you, you have to realise yourself and want to make a change. It was then I slowly weaned myself off fizzy drinks but didn’t manage to totally get rid of sugar in my porridge, pancakes, tea, coffee etc. Getting rid of fizzy drinks made me see a fairly big change in my body composition and I knew if I gave up the sugar I would see even bigger changes. It was then I discovered stevia based sweeteners. After trying pretty much everything on the market in terms of sweeteners I settled with one. I used it for a good year or so until the company stopped selling it and then the hunt started again and thankfully Sweetia came along.

If any of you have ever tried looking for a sugar substitute, you will know its tough. A few things I found when looking for the perfect stevia sweetener was a lot of them contained bulking agents like Erythritol and other ingredients but they were stating they were 100% stevia, which they weren’t and they didn’t have zero calories. If you are using a stevia sweetener I suggest you look at the packaging and read the ingredients, there should not be anything else in there apart from Stevia. If there is please look into it. The hunt continued and there were so many products with a horrible bitter after taste, I really started to wonder if I’d ever find the perfect one…but don’t worry we have with Sweetia. The product is even better than the one I used prior to this. There is no bitter aftertaste.

Sweetia is 200 times sweeter than sugar so for that reason you only need to use the tiniest little amount. I’m not joking when I say that a 100g bag lasts me for 6 months. A bag costs £20 so over 6 months it costs me about £3, that’s the cost of one coffee from Starbucks.

I use Sweetia daily, in teas, coffees, porridge and in yoghurt, it is a game changer. Do you even know how much sugar is in the yoghurt you have? Well for most of them its a lot. I buy a low-fat plain yoghurt, add a sprinkle of Sweetia put some berries in the microwave for 30-40 seconds and mix them into the yoghurt. There you have a low-calorie yoghurt and it will save you a few pennies. I literally take Sweetia everywhere with me. I have little bottles which I’ve purchased from their website that you can fill and slip into your pocket or bag and I can sprinkle it into hot drinks when I’m on the go. I even have a bag with me right now and I’m on a 6 month trip around the World. It literally goes everywhere with me.

Sweetia have some great recipes on their blog that provide some ideas of how it can be used. My favourite has to be the Door stop sourdough french toast, its soooo good. Click here to check it out.

Sweetia is available to buy online on their website. There is loads of information on the website that can clear and questions you may have.

I also have a 10% discount code for you FREAKS10 🙂
